Annie Leibovitz

My choice for my powerpoint presentation is Annie Leibovitz.  (images courtesy of Google)

Annie is a famous celebrity photographer.  She has one of the most famous photographs of John Lennon.  She also photographs many celebrities as Disney characters.  Her photography is so inspirational to me.  I live in Los Angeles, among celebrities, so I figured Annie would be perfect for me to do a presentation on.

 John Lennon and Yoko Ono

Julianne Moore and Michael Phelps

Meryl Streep

Nicole Kidman

Flash v Natural Light- Outdoors

This picture was taken outdoors without a flash in front of my apartment.  The colors are a bit dull.
Now the picture's colors are enhanced and more vibrant.

Flash v Natural Light- Indoors

This was taken without a flash indoors.

Now the picture is adjusted to look more naturally lit.
Now the picture is less orange and looks much closer to the actual color of the flowers.

N-I-C-K-Y: Spelling it Out

The N is made from an angle of a stove top.  The I is a bottle of champagne.  The C is a protective block over a pipe in my parking garage.  The K is part of a sign outside my apartment.  And the Y is a bird of paradise.

"Too Much" to "Just Right"- Cropping a Photo

This is a picture from my latest trip to Disneyland.  (Happy Halloween!)  There's so much going on in the photo.

Now I've cropped it to mainly focus on the Mickey Mouse Pumpkin.  Now the clear focus of the picture is the pumpkin.

From Dark to Light

Below is a picture from my latest trip to Disneyland.  I took this picture inside Sleeping Beauty's castle.  It's a little dark and discolored.

Here is the same picture lightened with picasa.
The color is a little more intense than in the first one and is lighter.
